Step By Step Drawing: Round Mouse
By Adriana Pallaci
I wanted to put something together for families to use as a resource for easy art projects that can be done in school or at-home using materials that you will (hopefully) have on-hand.
We’re using what we’ve got and we’re getting creative – and isn’t that what makes art fun?
Of course, we want our kids to have fun, but we also want to keep them engaged, learning, hands-on, and occupied!
With that in mind, remember that it’s ok to veer off course. If you don’t have a certain item, look around and see if there’s something else that you can use as a substitute.
Let's get started!
colored pencils, crayons, or markers
1. Follow each step as shown in the picture below.
2. Take your time and think about spacing and sizing. How close should one line be from a different line? Is the head and body big enough? Are the eyes too high or too low? Really think about the way you want your drawing to look.
3. Make sure that you don't push too hard with your pencil. Pushing hard means that lines are harder to erase.
4. Be proud of your work! All art is different and that's one of the things that makes art so special.
There you have it! Hang your art up around the house for a fun and festive decoration!
